Platform Architecture
How the layers connect and sit alongside ERP and MES
Five stages from plant record to operational decision.
01Manufacturing Data
- ERP
- MES and batch records
- Quality and lab systems
- Inventory and warehouse
- Weighbridge and scales
- Equipment logs
- Controlled spreadsheets
02Data Foundation
- Ingestion
- Normalization
- Validation
- Run attribution
- Record lineage
03Analytical Models
- Material balance
- Yield measures
- Expected-yield models
- Anomaly detection
- Financial model
04Intelligence Applications
- Yield performance
- Loss analysis
- Planning ranges
- Cost and value
- Multi-plant comparison
05Operational Decisions
- Review exceptions
- Investigate runs
- Plan production
- Approve changes
- Verify results
Across every stage: role-based access, organization-level data separation, audit trail, record lineage.
Verified outcomes return to the record, so the next estimate reflects what actually changed.
INTEGRATION AND DEPLOYMENT
Designed to sit alongside ERP and MES.
Yieldstem does not ask a plant to replace anything. ERP remains the financial record, MES continues to run production orders, the laboratory system keeps its quality results, and control systems remain untouched. Yieldstem reads from these systems and adds the analytical layer that none of them was built to provide.
It issues no commands to equipment and is not a control system. Actions that follow from a finding are taken by people, through the plant’s existing procedures.
- 1
Historical files
Exports from existing systems and controlled spreadsheets, covering past seasons. No connection to any plant system is required, which makes this the natural place to test whether the data can support the analysis.
- 2
Scheduled exports
The same records arrive on a regular cadence, so findings appear while a lot, shift or equipment condition can still be checked. IT keeps control of what leaves each system.
- 3
System interfaces
Where a system offers a suitable interface and the value justifies it, a read-only integration replaces the export. The scope depends on the interfaces actually available at each site.
Bring us the systems you have today.
We can look at how your production, quality and inventory records are kept, and whether they can support this kind of analysis. A technical conversation with your operations and IT teams is often the most useful first step.
